Judy Dawley, MSW, LICSW, RPT-S

Judy Dawley received her Master’s degree in clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas. She is licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Work by the MN Board of Social Work. Judy is certified as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor by the Association for Play Therapy and as a Mental Health Professional and Equine Specialist by the Equine Growth and Learning Association.

Judy is an avid supporter of experiential learning and the use of animals in helping clients resolve complicated, often times overwhelming circumstances. She incorportates both a therapy dog and the use of horses into her therapeutic approach to helping clients achieve treatment goals.

Judy provides strength based, child/client centered clinical support to children and families at ABC Child & Family Therapy Center LLC. She has over seventeen years of experience in working with children impacted by a myriad of issues including but not limited to: attachment trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse, physical abuse, chronic neglect, divorce related stressors, grief and loss, disruptive behaviors, bullying, anxiety disorders, social anxieties, sensory integration disorders, selective mutism and depression.

In addition, Judy provides parent coaching and clinical support to parents in conflicted post-divorce relationships as well as reunification therapy for parents estranged from their children. 


Wayne Luebbert, MSW, LICSW, LLC

Wayne Luebbert received his Master's degree in Social Work from Augsburg College. He also received a Master's of Arts degree in Pastoral Theology from Luther Seminary. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Wayne has been working as a therapist since 1999. Wayne's professional experience includes working with a wide variety of clients including violent adolescents and their families, families involved in child protection services, families involved in adoption services, adolescents involved with juvenile probation and individuals. Wayne also has experience helping men with their own mental health issues. He has received extensive training in solution focused brief therapy, various parenting models, as well as training in reactive attachment disorders.


Dorothy Wagner, MSW, LICSW, LLC

Dorothy Wagner is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado. She has a Master of Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Dorothy has practiced social work in the elementary school setting and as a children's mental health case manager in addition to her years of experience providing outpatient therapy.

Dorothy's practice includes individual therapy with children from the age of three, adolescents, adults and work with parents and families. She has experience working with a variety of issues including ADHD, depression, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, parent-child relationship problems, attachment disorders, adoption, abuse and neglect. She has a special interest in trauma-informed care.

In Dorothy's prescriptive approach to therapy, the child's strengths, symptoms of concern and life stressors are assessed and a unique treatment plan is created in collaboration with caregivers. Expressive therapies, particularly play therapy, with cognitive behavioral work and skills training are frequently combined to meet the child's specific needs. Children and adolescents are seen individually or in family therapy. Parents may receive coaching on how to provide positive discipline for children or education on symptoms and symptom management. Work with adolescents and adults often incorporates techniques and skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). 


Katie Johanningmeier, MS, LPCC, LLC

Katie Johanningmeier received her Master's degree in Community Counseling from Winona State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor through the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Katie also holds a Certificate in Addictions Counseling through Winona State University. She is a member of The American Counseling Association.

Katie utilizes the following modalities in her work with clients; strength based, client centered, cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing. She has worked alongside clients with a number of mental health disorders including but not limited to, ADHD, anxiety, addictions, behavioral problems, depression, gender issues, sexual disorders, trauma and workplace difficulties. Katie has worked extensively with both adult men and women. She has provided professional support to children as well as adolescents. Katie has therapy experience working with individuals, in group settings and providing psycho-education curriculum In addition, she has worked in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient and inpatient. Katie has also worked extensively with dual disorder clients and individuals in recovery from substance abuse, besides working with families and friends who have been impacted by their loved one's substance abuse and mental health disorders.
